Session Outline
This talk looks at what extinction means and the causes, both natural and those accelerated by humans.
Using examples of species living at Woburn Safari Park, we will explore how we can help prevent extinction.
LEARNING OUTCOMES

Pupils will have an understanding of extinction in relation to animals they will have seen on their visit to the park.

They will understand the terms extinction and endangered species.

They will understand how man has exacerbated the extinction of some species and what we can do to help prevent further extinctions of species.
